The Little Tool Making A Big Difference
This thing keeps my skin in check.
I always talk about how I didn’t start taking care of my skin until my mid-20s. Thankfully, I have never had any major issues with my skin. Now that I’m in my 30s, I obviously am noticing some signs of aging. I’m not a beauty guru by any means, but new products and beauty devices are becoming more intriguing to me.

I started using the ZIIP Halo microcurrent device almost a year ago, and I think I’ve formed a pretty good opinion on it. This cutie little tech gadget uses a combination of microcurrents (more defines, smooths, and lifts) and nanocurrents (reduces wrinkles, tones and contours, and gives a glowing complexion) to contract and relax your muscles to not only lift, but also tone them. The best part is that it takes as little as 4 minutes!!
I first started by using just the built in “workout”, but there is also an app that syncs other “workouts” to your device. For example, there’s a 6 minute “Instant Gratification” treatment for an immediate glow and lift. There’s a “Founder’s Favorite” treatment for an extra level facial. So far, I’ve only tried the automatic one on my ZIIP, as well as the “Electric Tone”.
While I haven’t seen CRAZY, INSANE, AMAZING results…but I have seen subtle ones that keep me wanting to consistently use it! I could imagine with continued use of the device, I’ll continue to see little changes in my skin over time.
My skin type is a combination - normal, but can lean dry at certain times. My skincare concerns are uneven texture and fine lines. Plus the occasional blemishes.

Pros: Small, wireless device; Good battery life; No longer than 12 minutes (and as little as 4!). With certain treatments, you get an immediate lift and glow.
Cons: If you have a problem with consistency, then maybe this wouldn’t be for you. While I’ve definitely seen some subtle results already, this device doesn’t give you those drastic results (like Botox would).
